Submission of Document** for Admission to get approval from Ministry of Education (MOE)  \n• Submit ALL required documents.   \n(_Kindly refer to the list of required documents_) through email [info@iis.edu.my](mailto:info@iis.edu.my%C2%A0) \n\n**Important Reminder :**   \n     i. Please mention the student’s name and passport number.           \n     ii. Passport must be valid more than 15 months at the date of submission.               \niii. Please note that MOE processing period is within 60 to 90 working days.\n\n**2\\. Insurance & Preparation of Visa Documents**  \n      • The insurance can be done once you have reached Malaysia, OR         \n      • If you wish to apply for insurance in your country, you are required to prepare a special letter stating clearly that your insurance covers Malaysia as well.  \n      • The insurance must be of Medical Insurance type.  \n      • You are required to prepare visa documents while waiting for MOE approval.   \n       (_Kindly refer to the list of visa documents required_)         \n\n**3\\. Processing**\n\n      • Visa submission and processing period to the Immigration Department of Malaysia is within 30 working days.  \n      • Please note that only COMPLETE documents will be processed.\n\n**4\\. Visa Granted**       \n\n       • Once Visa is granted, we will inform parents for visa collection.       \n       • All payments should be settled at the school office before collecting the passport.   \n       • Passport together with visa can be collected once the payments have been made  \n       (_Please refer to the attachment for visa fees_)\n\n### **VISA DOCUMENTATION CHECKLISTS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS**  **(NEW / RENEW APPLICATION)**\n\n**1**\n\nCopy in **color of student’s passport** (_All printed pages_ – _For new student only_)\n\nCopy in **color of student’s passport details page** and **latest visa page** (_For renew student only_)\n\n_The School will request for the original passport upon obtaining the approval from the Ministry of Education (MOE).The process of MOE will take for one (1) months / 30 working days._ \n\n**2**\n\n– Original **student’s birth certificate** ( _For new student only. )_\n\n– Copy of **student’s birth certificate** (_translated into_ **_English_** _and_ **_certified true copy_** _by_   _the country’s Embassy/high commission in Malaysia_)\n\n**3**\n\nCopy of **father and mother’s passport all pages**.\n\n(**_Certified true copy_** _by the country’s Embassy/high commission in Malaysia. For new student only.)_\n\n**4**\n\n– Original **parent’s marriage certificate** ( _For new student only. )_\n\n– Copy of **parent’s marriage certificate** (_translated into_ **_English_** _and_ **_certified true copy_** _by the_   _country’s Embassy/high commission in Malaysia_)\n\n**5**\n\n**Medical health insurance policy** for student. (_validity must be one year and ‘must cover’ Malaysia_)\n\n**6**\n\n**Four (4) passport-size photograph** of student (_with blue background_).\n\n**7**\n\nStudent’s school leaving certificate.
