In addition, AMMC focus on helping manufacturing industry, particularly SMEs to develop competitive instruments, machines or products that enjoy increased margins and that compete successfully in existing and new markets.  The Advanced Manufacturing and Material Centre (AMMC) was founded 2008 and is comprised of members of staff from the Faculty of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering in the Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia.
